About the Midwest Karate AssociationThe Midwest Karate Association (M.K.A.) is the oldest and largest organization in the upper midwest. M.K.A. teaches the Japan Karate Association style of karate and strictly adheres to the standards set by the J.K.A. Midwest Karate is also a member of the American Amatuer Karate Federation., taking part in all A.A.K.F. sponored events. Midwest Karate was founded in 1958 by Master Robert Fusaro, 7th Degree Black Belt, who is the Regional Director for the North Central Region of the A.A.K.F. The main headquarters for Midwest Karate are maintained in his Minneapolis studio. Other Midwest Karate studios are located in St. Paul and Burnsville, Minnesota. |
